 Catalog Description:
 
Prepares students for ENG 111 by teaching the fundamentals of writing. Intensive instruction in grammar,
 
mechanics, usage, and sentence structure. Emphasis on rhetorical structures that support critical reading
 
and thinking. Admission by placement.
